This amazing TR3 was handed over to its original owner in California in 1956. From there, it was imported by its last owner in order to restore it completely. The bodywork, interior and mechanics have been completely restored.
It has a 1,991 cc 4-cylinder engine with dual SU carburettors giving a performance of 95 hp and it is equipped with its original 4-speed gearbox. All the mechanics have been fully restored: the engine, transmission, suspension, steering and brakes. It has been improved with electronic ignition system, better performance air filters, Power-brakes, a sports exhaust manifold and stainless-steel exhaust line.
The bodywork has been fully restored and finished in a bright Alpine White and the interiors are upholstered in high quality Terracotta leather, giving the car a unique and fresh appearance. On the inside, the dashboard is completely upholstered in leather, matching the seats. The central dashboard gauges are framed in walnut wood. It is also equipped with a classic wooden Moto Lita steering wheel. Without doubt, a very warm and comfortable interior. It has its original painted spoked wheels and has newly installed Vredestein Classic tyres.
This first series TR3 Small Mouth, named after its front grille which is narrower than the later TR3A model, is a magnificent opportunity to obtain a very pleasant to drive attractive classic car with a guarantee of many more kilometers to drive. The value for money of this unit makes it one of the most interesting reasonably-priced roadsters in the market.
