Maserati Quattroporte 1966

Maserati Quattroporte 4000 serie II AM 107. The car was delivered new in Gardone Riviera, Brescia , Italy by Auto Bertanza SpA in July 1966.

Originally delivered in “Grigio Flemington”  exterior and red Connolly leather interior.  The car was exported to California ,USA by the first or maybe the second

owner. In the beginning of the 90´s Dr. Reinhardt from Los Angeles, CA bought the car and restored the car, mechanics and  body paint in 1997. The level

and quality of the jobs done in the car  made it to win in 1998 and 1999  the Class “Early V8” of the US Maserati Club International Conquest in Carmel,CA.

The car is “matching numbers”.

In 2003 the car was purchased by Mr. Wagner ,a good old friend of the third owner, and imported to Germany where the car was registered . Mr. Wagner bring

Inmediatley after to his home in Spain where he and his family enjoyed the car for this last 14 years.

The odometer shows 86.500kms and we think it´s real for the look of so many details, pedals, steering, etc….The engine is so easy to start without noises at the

first turn of the key, A cylinders compression and oil pressure test was done with good results. The 5-speed manual ZF transmission is soft and precise also in cold

startings. The clutch is sweet and progressive . The car is powerfull with a confidance handling ,a distinctive design and it was really a head of his time against his

contemporary competitors. If you drive it you can understand the 1966 ad slogan “La berlina più veloce del Mondo”. The Car is equiped with power steering and

power windows and Air Conditioned.

The body and chassis are absolutelly rust and crash free thanks to the southern California and Spain´s weather. The body paint is beautiful and still shinning but

with minor defects . Now the car color exterior is “Argento Auteuil metallizzato” (Silver). The beautiful interior in real Connolly red leather

is in average condition but unfortunately the front seats have broken bottom seams. The leather dashborad , wood trim and the central console are in very good

condition, the door wood moldings are in excellent condition as the roofliner. The weatherstrip rubbers are in medium condition but still usables.

The front grille and front and rear bumpers are in very good condition as lights bezels and moldings. The chromed “Record” turbo Sport wheels are in average condition

And the original hubcups in good condition. Now fitted with white line Goodyear Eagle tires.

The words to describe this car is “Honest” and “Good” car. This is not a full restored car, it´s not a “Trailer Queen” it´s just an unmolested and well cared italian car

saloon with a beautiful patina and ready to enjoy without problems. A turn key Maserati!.
