La Carrera Panamericana with Auto Storica

La Carrera Panamericana continues to cross borders, as part of the international promotion strategy in Europe, and together with Auto Storica, we have made a collaboration agreement to promote motor sports in Mexico and thus facilitate direct contact with the organization for consultations and inscriptions.

Thanks to Auto Storica, fans of La Carrera Panamericana in Europe will be able to be advised on their vehicles to comply with the regulations of our categories and manage the registration directly with the organization.

The Carrera Panamericana is the most important and longest rally-type speed event in the world. It is considered one of the most important of its kind due to the beauty and length of its route, which exceeds the Mille Miglia, Targa - Fiorio or the Nürburgring oval. Its history is divided into two eras:

- The old era, the original, from 1950 to 1954, created to celebrate the inauguration of the recently completed Pan-American highway in 1950 and where many great drivers participated, such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Alberto Ascari, Piero Taruffi, Jean Treboux or Hershel McGriff.
- The modern era, which in 2022 turns 35 uninterrupted years and has seen many memorable personalities from various fields participate.

Each year more than 90 vehicles of at least ten different nationalities compete. Participants travel around 3,000 km in total, covering more than 500km of speed stages through the most spectacular Mexican roads and landscapes, generally traveling from south to north, visiting 8 states along their route during 7 intense days. There are 11 different categories depending on the make, model and year of the car.

Running alongside La Carrera is the Sport & Classic Tour, a unique event designed to give you the Pan American experience while driving an unmodified premium vehicle. With a limited number of participants, the Sport & Classic Tour brings classic and current cars to the Panamericana convoy, to travel in 5 days the same roads that the Carrera Panamericana runs on. Without speed sections, regularity or timed stages, you will live an absolute adventure without running a racing vehicle, and you will also be able to taste and enjoy the gastronomy and the unique charm of Mexico during a trip of 2,000 km.
